May 23rd will go down in history as a red-letter day in the modern political history of India. Several things happened as counting of votes progressed and concluded. Narendra Modi was slated for a thumping win and a solid second term. First time ever for a non-Congress PM that two five-year terms have been mandated. The only other national party was decimated once again with Rahul Gandhi having to cut a sorry figure. Most regional parties who were hoping to cobble a coalition called the third front were also left in tatters. Two non-aligned parties (YSR Congress and Trinamool managed to get around 22 seats each and DMK aligned with the Congress got around 23 seats).

She has been named as the Senior Manager, Brand and Communications at Times Bridge
Times Bridge, the global investment arm of The Times Group, has appointed Prachi Jatania as Senior Manager, Brand and Communications. In her new role, Jatania will strengthen the Times Bridge brand, advance awareness of its platform around the world and lead communications regarding its portfolio’s successes across India. An alumnus of the University of Cambridge, Jatania has over 12 years of experience in media and international communications. Her last stint was as Director, Press and Public Affairs, at British Deputy High Commission in Mumbai where she was responsible for strategic communications, media relations and marketing to support the UK government’s international trade, policy and public affairs work in Western India.

ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has appointed Anusha Shenoy as its new Communications Lead in India.Prior to joining ByteDance, Shenoy was working as Communications Lead at Uber Eats India & South Asia, where her role was to build the corporate and consumer reputation of Uber Eats and strengthens its presence in India. Before switching to the corporate communications side, Shenoy has served a stint at the public relations major Edelman for six years.Shenoy holds a Master's degree in Communications Management from Symbiosis International University and has completed her Bachelor’s in Commerce from Mumbai University.
