Editorji Technologies is funded by HT Media and Bharti Airtel with the former having a 10% stake.The platform uses a powerful AI algorithm enabling users to stream multiple news stories.With 100 stories a day, editorji features an array of genres from politics, business,international to lifestyle and entertainment, etc. Vikram Chandra is the former CEO of NDTV Group.Describing the product, editor ji founder Vikram Chandra said, “This platform provides a one-tap access to a personalized newscast that is created by the editor ji algorithm which considers a variety of parameters including location, news categories, preferred style of news and so on. Fever FM steals the show again in Delhi and Mumbai in the 36th week
Out of the 12.2 million listeners, 17.3 per cent tuned into Fever in Mumbai and among 16.5 million listeners in Delhi, 18.7 per cent prefer listening to Fever FM.Radio City and Radio Nasha with 12.7 per cent and 12 per cent share held the second and third positions, respectively.The highest listenership witnessed on total radio was during mid-morning and afternoon.In Mumbai, Radio Mirchi and Radio City with a 13.5 per cent and 13.1 per cent share, respectively.On the contrary, Bangalore and Kolkata have an ear for Radio City and Radio Mirchi, respectively. Afternoon time band, followed by mid-morning shows the highest listenership in the two cities.

The capital expenditure of media firm Mathrubhumi is likely to witness a downfall
The levels are expected to decline to Rs 40-50 crore in fiscal 2019 from over Rs 100 crore incurred in fiscal 2018. However, CRISIL has reaffirmed its A and A1 ratings for long-term and short-term bank facilities of Mathrubhumi. The total bank facilities rated is Rs 260 crore. The rating agency noted that Mathrubhumi’s operating profitability is expected to decline in fiscal 2019 because of higher newsprint prices and lower advertising revenue during Onam season due to floods in Kerala. The lower capex, it added, is expected to support financial risk profile. Regional media company The Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Co Ltd prints and publishes newspapers, periodicals, and journals.
